Your HousingNet Expierence: A step-by-step introduction
We will set up an appointment at your desired location or at our office in the heart of Amsterdam. In this personal meeting, we will discuss your wishes regarding the type of property you wish to purchase. During this conversation, we establish your exact requirements and needs of what you are looking for so that we can optimally guide you in the purchase process.
Once we have mapped out your wishes, we will look for suitable homes. We search online and consult our network of brokers. Because we often work together with other brokers, we have a great advantage in the negotiation process. We also have access to the many properties that are sold outside the market. In addition, we can review past transactions to determine the right strategy for bidding on a home.
Once you have found a property that is completely to your liking, we will check all documents associated with the property such as the energy label, maintenance information, VvE documents, etc. A notary of your choice will draw up the deed of sale and, if necessary, also a mortgage deed. If you need a mortgage, a financing condition will be included in the purchase agreement. You sign all the necessary paperwork for the purchase and the deal is closed.
Do you need additional financing to purchase the house? Then we would like to put you in touch with an expert mortgage advisor from our network. It is of course wise to have an idea in advance of what you can borrow if you need a mortgage. As soon as you have a final quote from your lender, the delivery can take place.
As soon as the final mortgage offer has been signed, an appointment is scheduled for the delivery of the house. On the day of delivery, we meet with the selling party and his broker at the home for a final check. Then we go with all parties to the notary where the deed of delivery is signed. Congratulations, the house is now yours!
